A little about the class:
Our first six-week class session will begin September 14th, 2026 and will commence October 23rd.
The Hummingbird Academy approach allows for a small group, technology free class, student led lessons using hands on activities.
The class is either drop off or parents are welcome to join us.
The Hummingbird Academy strives to be a source of support, socialization, fun and community to families choosing to homeschool or alternative school their children.

OUR PHILOSOPHY
Learning is natural
Young children have lively minds from the start. We strive to make the most of this natural quality by enabling them to experience, investigate, care about others, interact, develop and create. We strive to deepen and strengthen children’s natural abilities by providing them with the healthiest environment possible.
OUR CLASSROOMS
Our facilities provide children with everything they need to prosper, imagine and create. The space is equipped with large windows overlooking Budd Lake and will provide lovely natural light. In addition to a classroom built for student lead learning we will also have some classic earmarks of early education classrooms.
